Important information for Day 1 of the event available at the reception desk

Following breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and begin our journey.

Our half-day guided tour will take us to the Great Three Pyramids, which belong to the Kings of the 4th Dynasty of the Old Kingdom – Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerionos. These ancient wonders are a must-see for any history lover and offer a glimpse into the past of Egypt. Entrance fees to the pyramids are not included in the tour price.

As we explore the pyramids, you will have the option to ride camels, a unique and exciting way to experience this ancient site.

After the pyramids, we will head to the Egyptian Museum for a guided tour. Here, you will learn about the rich history of Egypt and see an impressive collection of artifacts and treasures. Entrance fees to the museum are not included in the tour price.

In the evening, we will transfer to the rail station to board a sleeper train and overnight to Aswan. This is an opportunity to relax and reflect on the amazing experiences we’ve had during the day.

Welcome to Aswan! We will arrive early in the morning and start our adventure in the afternoon.

First, we will embark on a Felucca tour around the islands in the Nile, including Elephantine Island, Agha Khan Mausoleum, and the botanical gardens on Kitchener Island. These islands offer a unique perspective of Aswan’s natural beauty and rich history.

Next, we will visit a Nubian village. This is a chance to learn about the Nubian culture, customs, and way of life. You will have the opportunity to see traditional Nubian houses, meet local people, and perhaps even try some traditional Nubian food.

We will have our dinner in the village before returning to Aswan at the end of the day. This is an opportunity to relax and reflect on the amazing experiences we’ve had during the day.

Today, we have the option to take an optional tour to one of Egypt’s greatest temples, Abu Simbel.

For those who choose to join the tour, we will embark on a journey to the historic site of Abu Simbel. This temple is considered one of the most impressive and beautiful in Egypt, and it is an absolute must-see for history and architecture enthusiasts. The temple is dedicated to the great pharaoh Ramses II, and it was built during the 13th century BC. The massive statues of Ramses II and his queen Nefertari at the facade of the temple are the most striking feature of Abu Simbel.

For those who choose not to join the tour, you can enjoy the day exploring Aswan on your own. Aswan is a charming city with many interesting sights and activities to discover, such as the Aswan High Dam, and the temple of Philae

Welcome to our traditional felucca tour on the Nile! Today, we will sail in a felucca, a traditional sailboat, to the ancient temple of Kom Ombo (entrance fees not included). This temple is dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris, and it offers a glimpse into the rich history and culture of ancient Egypt.

As we sail, you will be able to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Nile river, surrounded by the lush green landscape. Feluccas are very basic traditional Nile sailboats, and they make for an extremely relaxing and enjoyable way to travel down the river.

We will overnight on the felucca, sleeping on the deck of the boat. Mattresses are provided, but you will need a blanket or light sleeping bag. Please note that the Felucca does not have toilets or showers, however, there will be a support boat, equipped with toilets and an area to eat your meals, that travels alongside us.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that combines the serene beauty of the Nile with a visit to one of Egypt’s most impressive temples. Thank you for choosing our tour, and we look forward to sharing this unique experience with you.

Today, we will check out of our felucca boat and transfer by private air-conditioned bus to Luxor. Our first stop of the day will be the ancient temple of Edfu (entrance fees not included). This temple is dedicated to the god Horus, and it is considered one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Its well-preserved inscriptions and beautiful carvings provide insight into the religious beliefs and daily life of the ancient Egyptians.

After visiting the temple, we will continue our journey to Luxor where we will check-in to our hotel. Luxor is home to many ancient sites, including the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Hatshepsut, and the temple of Karnak. You will have free time to explore these sites or other attractions on your own.

The day will end with an overnight stay in Luxor, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s adventures.

Today, we will be exploring the west bank of Luxor and visiting the famous Valley of the Kings. We will take donkeys to reach the valley, which is the final resting place of nearly all of the kings (pharaohs) of the 18th–20th dynasties (1539–1075 BC), from Thutmose I to Ramses X.

The valley contains 62 tombs, many of which were robbed in antiquity, but the tomb of Tutankhamen escaped pillage. After its excavation in the 1920s, its treasures were placed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The valley is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it is a must-see for anyone interested in ancient Egyptian history and culture.

After visiting the valley, the remainder of the day is free for leisure. Luxor is a great city to explore on foot, and you can stroll along the Nile Corniche, or visit the world’s first mummification museum to learn more about the secrets of the Pharaonic mummies.

Today, we will be taking a tour by calèche (horse-drawn carriage) to visit the famous Karnak Temple. This temple complex is not just a single temple, but a collection of many pylons, temples, halls and sanctuaries from the Middle Kingdom to the Greek-Roman period.

The Karnak Temple is one of the most impressive and largest temple complexes in Egypt and was dedicated to the god Amun. As we tour the complex, our guide will provide in-depth information about the history, architecture, and significance of the various structures we will be visiting.

After our tour, we will return to our hotel for some rest and overnight in Luxor.

Today, we will be embarking on a journey through the West Bank of Luxor and discovering the ancient tombs and temples of the Valley of the Kings.

After breakfast, we will begin our journey by taking a donkey ride to the Valley of the Kings. Our first stop will be the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, known as “the most splendid of all.” This temple is a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture, and our guide will provide fascinating insights into the history and significance of the temple.

We will then continue our journey to the Valley of the Kings, where we will visit Medinet Habu, the funeral temple of Ramses III, and the Ramesseum, with its gigantic fallen colossus of Ramses II. We will also have the opportunity to visit selected tombs of nobles (entrance fees not included).

After our tour, we will return to the hotel before taking an overnight sleeper train to Cairo

On the morning of day 10, arrive in Cairo and transfer to the train station to catch a seat train to Alexandria. After approximately 4 hours, arrive in Alexandria and transfer to your hotel.

Alexandria, located along the Mediterranean Sea, offers a unique and charming experience with its trams, cafes, and a hint of nostalgia. During your stay, take the opportunity to explore the catacombs of Kom Ash-Shuqqafa, the largest Roman burial site in Egypt. You can also visit the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a library inspired by the original great library of Alexandria, which holds over 8 million books.

Take a stroll down the waterfront to the historical Fort Qaitbey and visit the lovely Greco-Roman Museum. For those interested in history, you can also opt for a day trip to Rashid in the east, home of the ancient Rosetta Stone, or to El Alamein’s war cemeteries and museum dedicated to the soldiers of the dramatic North Africa campaign of World War II.”

On the morning of the day, 10 arrive in Cairo then change to seat train to Alexandria, and transfer to your hotel in Alexandria.

Alexandria is spread along the Mediterranean Sea and is wonderfully evocative, with its trams, cafes and a slight feel of decay. You can explore the catacombs of Kom Ash-Shuqqafa, the largest Roman burial site in Egypt and the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, inspired by the original great library of Alexandria, built to hold over 8 million books. Take the chance to visit the lovely Greco-Roman Museum and stroll down the waterfront to the historical Fort Qaitbey. You could opt for a day trip to Rashid in the east – the home of the ancient Rosetta Stone or to El Alamein’s war cemetaries and museum dedicated to the soldiers of the dramatic North Africa campaign of World War II.

Start your day with an early breakfast and check-out from the hotel, then sit back and relax as we take you on a private bus to the ancient pilgrimage site of St. Katherine. The journey, which includes stops in charming villages, takes approximately 11 hours. Once you arrive, take the opportunity to climb Moses Mountain and witness a breathtaking sunrise

Early breakfast and check out of hotel. Visit to St Catherine monastry. After that we will transfer by private bus to Dahab. Enjoy this small village on your own. Great for water sports such as swimming, scuba diving, wind surfing or snorkelling. Overnights in Dahab.
